How did you get my email? Good question did I give it to you to email me or did someone else give it to you. When I email someone, if they give it out to someone else is this good? No because I think you should consider it personal. Can I write your phone number on a public bathroom wall? That’s how I feel about my email. I get a lot of spam and just delete it. When a business emails me junk, I don’t read I delete it. Everything I do is based on would I want someone to do this to me. If you are a marketer who does email marketing good luck with that, I as a consumer will just delete. Where do you think these email scams are getting your email from? They think of their scams as a business. Be Courteous in giving out emails, if there is a onetime need attached ok but otherwise respect others property or your email address may end up on someone bathroom wall. We get enough junk mail from websites grabbing our emails don’t add to the problem.

Twitter tip on Direct Messages

Direct Messages a person in Twitter your link or a thank you is not good. One thing Direct Message is set up for a Message that you don’t want others to see. If I think someone for following me I want everyone to see this, because it shows them I am thoughtful. If I have a link, I want all to know I have a link. When I am talking to one person, I @ them, I hate it when someone just makes a statement instead of @ the person they are talking too. The reason I don’t like this is when I say something to them and they make a statement that would answer, I don’t know if they are talking to me or someone else. Talk to a certain person not to all your followers and your responses may be different. Are you so important, that you think your words connect to all followers, not unless it is a Quote.

Blessings

The view of my life from young until now is based on the reflections of times passed. In the moment of the Day I give thanks for all the blessing I have had and I will have. Why is it that the blessing of the Day can only be seen in the light of Love of our heart? I always say the smile is the window to our heart. So thru the mirror of my heart I realized that I have always had blessing and I hope I’ve always given thanks for all of them. Love can be your candle in the night.

Homemade soup

I made homemade soup yesterday and it was good. It tastes like I had it full of cheese and there was none in it. It was full of good things so I’m going to share it.

3 potatoes cut into cubes

1 whole carrot cute across in the round

Celery about ½ stalk-chopped

Small onion chopped

2 tables spoon of olive oil

Put these items in pan 4 about 5 minutes stirring some

Add milk to half of your veggies continue cooking on medium when liquid goes down add cup of water and 2 tablespoon of sour cream about 4 precooked bacon pieces. Add lid and turn down on slow cooking until potatoes and carrots are soft

Turn off Salt and pepper and pour it into Vita Mixer and Mix

This blend the soup smooth if not enough liquid to mix add just a little milk or water

Twitter and Life


I saw this today. A woman who is my age or more joined Twitter a long time before the young ones did. What does this say about the age demographics 4 twitter? It says a lot when we get into a rut of doing things, like texting. Even the young gets into ruts and don’t want things to change but change is here. I tweet some days more than others. Lately I‘ve been working on something’s and have not given Twitter my all. I love to tweet and you fine the most interesting things out. It connects you to another person in a way of upbringing you. Some have the wrong view of twitter. My tweetiefriends as I like to call them bring me up when I’m down and make me appreciate life as it goes. Can you just get on and stream links and not talk back and forth? No. Whatever you have your account 4 you have to communicate with your stream. You have to connect at some point or you will have no followers and you will not have the thanks and Love and Hugs that comes from tweetiefriends in your stream. Ok it’s time 4 a coffee. Tweet on, Rock on, Dance on tweetieville.

Social Media and Marketing terms don't fit

I asked the question on where Twitter fits into today's Marketing terms and the response was Drip Marketing. This is old school thinking because the person who said this is old school. Twitter is in the category of yesterday when commercial turned Business into people when TV was new. If you’re a company wanting to cash in on this new media beware of old school teaching. This is a time of change. Change in the guards and the old way of thinking. You do not become an expert in this field at this time by knowing what worked before. You have to set up good basic rules and find someone who has been teaching themselves on this new media. If you look at the real experts of this they didn’t get their knowledge from a school. They did hours and hours of research, testing different theories and doing the wrong thing to find the right thing to do in this media. Their advice can only take you so far and the rest is left up to you. If you do not have the time and energy this takes to keep up with this fast Media. Then you need to find someone who does and of course this will be an expense but the rewards you can look back at the past and see how this made big companies out of little ones. You be the judge

Life 4 the last 60 years

I am 60 the 17 of this month. In my years I have seen, our food supply tampered with because of Profit. Producers of our food was allowed to add hormones to our food, they were allowed to use penicillin to our food in order to not cut into their profits. A large company altered our seeds to the point poison doesn’t kill them but what has been over looked is what is this doing to our bodies. Everything in our society is connected to money. At what point in our life do we say enough. I think we all have to say enough and get on board with getting back to the natural. Everything that is introduced into our life has been done so to make things faster better. But what we have overlooked is faster is not always better 4 this country called our body. It is this perfect thing that can fight off illness with what is inside but you start changing the makeup of something it can never be good. Let’s get back to basics and change the way we have looked at things 4 the past 60 years. Start this process with you. Don’t buy into this faster is better and make a difference.


Tip of the Day Don’t buy Febreze home collection Green Tea Citrus it is so strong it made my allergies go wacko. It has the worse smell I have ever smelled. Why do they think the smell has to be overpowering to be good? Soft smells are the way to go. Natural smells.

What is my Day like

What is my Day like? Well this new PC is giving me the fits. The touch of the key board is so different than my old one. It's almost like; I need to type like a person who is on a keyboard 4 the first time. So when I get my thoughts out and look up I find I have lots of words that don't make sense. So that gets me to my point. What is the thing in your Day that has caused you problems? Well this is my thought. I will learn to hit the keys harder and you will hit your problem harder. And when we meet on Twitter or facebook to connect it will bring a smile to your face because you and I can, accomplish anything. My oldest daughter is always saying why do you waste your time on Twitter, why don't you get out and meet a real live friend? Well this is the story. She is still in the stone ages and I live now. I have meet some of the nicest people in the world because, I have found out that what you put out there is what you get back. Now if we were conscious of this every day, what would our world be like? Food 4 thought.

The Moments of Today

I have this saying, Live in the Moment. That brings me to my subject 4 today. I've been tweeting with this girl who I thought was a teenager but turns out she is in her 20s. You see the Avatar or picture icon on your tweet which ever level of tweeting your in, is not always the person you are talking too. When I started this thing call tweeting, I started to put my preteen picture on my avatar. I didn't because in my mind at the time, I wanted people to talk to me face to face. So in your endeavor of Social Media, You have to make the choice of what you will use it 4 and then choose the avatar. So I realized in tweeting with her, that I made the right choice on my avatar all those months ago but now I have taken this to a new level which requires a new way of thinking. The point to all of this is on my personal account, it requires a Picture avatar and on my Business, my avatar is a picture of a flower in my yard. This picture I own, which clears me of any copyright or ownership laws. You should always take this into consideration when choosing your Avatar or uploading of Music, Videos, Pictures, etc.
