How secure is your Bank or Store you buy from online?

A client has me checking into a secure web page for her and I learn some interesting things about High assurance and low assurance for that tiny little lock at the top of the page that is locked but is it really locked? No! I did a study of Banks in my small town and found that out of the 7 only 2 was really high assurance. I did one in the big city across the river and found it was also low assurance.

Start checking the locks by clicking on lock go to view certificate check the issued by. Should have SSL in this, which means 2 keys required to get Data, more encryptions is used with SSL.  People say, we have a fire wall that is very secure but what they don't realize is they gave someone a key to get thru it.

Ok what’s up with this new way of hiring people? You use to put down all the things you had done and schooling. Now you buy a book to fill out resume for different companies. Degree/right words for that company/take all the real stuff out and throw in some technical words, know a person here, bam you're hired. You’re an expert for this job. Now this person is the expert in this job and from this date forward, they do your important business.  Everything goes along ok until they make a bad mistake and when that happens they will say "I did it right, that person was wrong".

Ok this is what you are facing as a Company..People out there are calling themselves experts in social Media and the truth is the only expert is the one who is still learning. I am not and will never be an expert in Social Media because I figure out something new every day. How do you know you’re getting the right consultant to help you in your business? First off listen to what they are saying about Social Media. 2 Do they act like they know it all? 3 Do they tell you it’s easy and doesn’t take much time at all? If the answer to any of these questions are yes or I’ve been doing this 4 years..Then you have the wrong one to help you in Social Media. Because this does take a lot of time to figure out and no one is an expert..We are all doing it every day, trying to figure out what works and doesn’t in this new media. YouTube Webinar for videos was what I did today

I listened to the webinar on YouTube today overall good but they tell me to make video, quick and to the point. The same with your web page.

So the point is when typing up my notes, same topics were all over the place. My tip 4 you when doing a talk set an agenda of topics and keep all information on that bullet together. They suggest flip HD camera. I’m going to try it and I’ll let you know what I think. You know I’ll tell it like it is.Title is key/grabs their attention,

What is happening in Social Media now? 4 the contest on mashable, so many people think that they are now an expert on Social media and they have to tell people to vote 4 them 4 some small honors on @Mashable. Bull, if I have to ask you to vote 4 me that tells me, I’m not worth the effort. If I get 50,000 followers and I have to ask them to vote 4 me, is this an honor? No. Because I asked and people did it, doesn’t make me anymore than when I received it. The only nominations in my life that have been real, are the ones people gave me because they felted I deserved it. We do a lot in our lives that we wish someone would notice and give us credit 4 but if I have to ask you to give this to me. Do I deserve it? No. So @Mashable the winner of your contest, will I think they deserve it? No. I do have to add this @mashable has the best information on Social Media I have found, so kottos to you @mashable you just got my vote.
